From the top of Broad Hey, there is a good view of the farm buildings and the flat, cultivated moss land. The contrast between the two types of farm land can be seen.

The old trees around Broad Hey show the direction of the prevailing wind in their growth pattern. New trees in the corner of the field were planted in 1995.
